This poem was inspired by the piano piece, “River Flows In You” composed by the South Korean-British composer, Yiruma. It was released in 2001 in an album called “First Love”.
River Flows In You
There is a road in my heart made just for you.
Don’t be scared,
take your first step and then take two.
Hold on just a little longer,
trust a little more.
There’s a river in you flowing through.
I am holding on,
trusting you.
The river keeps flowing,
finding its way to you.
The river flows,
river flows toward you.
